To Be Wed at Waukon Today
WAUKON The marriage of Miss Marlene Mae Miller and Alvin Hanson will be solemnized today at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Presbyterian church. Rev. John Bartell will read the double ring service with attendants Betty Lou Klocke and Gorden Engen. Music by Shirley Stock with Mrs. Niles Herman as vocalist. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Miller, wears a nylon net and lace gown over taffeta with a lace jacket and a rhinestone crown to hold her veil. She carries a white Bible topped with flowers. Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanson, recently discharged from the army in Germany, is now a farmer. A reception at the bride’s home follows, after which the couple will tour Illinois.
