Ronald Raydean Oldham 85 of Fairfax passed away April 16 2012 at home. A private family service will be held. He was born August 30 1926 in Chicago to Nora Andre and Virgil Oldham grew up in Mechanicsville Iowa and served in the Navy in 1944 as a First Class Seaman. He worked 42 years at Link Belt Speeder as a machinist. He married Doris Rogers in April 1953 their 51 year marriage. Survived by daughter Sheree Zink son Edward Oldham three granddaughters and a great granddaughter. He was known as Roadmaster Ron a NASCAR fan and cherished friend Dick Bell. He loved cars and had a playful farewell line at the end.

Survived by brother Ray Grabin and sister Betty Mae Grabin plus seven nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents husband 1993 and two brothers. Memorials may go to Iowa City Hospice.
