Drunk Driving Charges In Linn County Weekend Arrests
Thirteen people were arrested in Linn County for drunk driving over the weekend. Names include Roberta J. Gorsh 30 arrested Saturday at Sixth Street and 31st Avenue SW with additional driving on the wrong side of the road. Hazel I. Brown 55 of Davenport arrested Saturday at A Avenue and Seventh Street NE with no license. Others listed face varying charges including headlight violations, speeding, and failure to dim headlights.

Cedar Rapids roads face two lane closures and closures
Two Cedar Rapids road projects begin today. The Iowa Department of Transportation says 42nd Street NE near I 380 will run one lane each way for four to six weeks, then close for an indeterminate time for an Illinois Central Gulf Railroad crossing rebuild. Stoney Point Road SW near US 30 will close north of the highway for about four weeks.
