SPIRIT LAKE AP A northwest Iowa man was killed when his pickup crossed the center lane on Highway 9 and collided with a westbound semi driven by Merlin Kredit of Sioux Center near Spirit Lake. The crash occurred about 2 40 a m. Kip Jenness 21 of Spirit Lake died. Kredit was not seriously injured.
