In Maplewood Missouri two men, Raymond Daggett and Leonard Ferguson, swore out a bigamy warrant against Alberta Daggett after both claimed to be her husband. The men brought Alberta to the Maplewood police station where she said both were upset with her.

In New York a 19th century tale closes as Eliza Sheldon Harrison Drummond dies at 89 in Brooklyn. Her former husband, George Essex Montifex Drummond, Viscount Forth, eloped with her maid, endured poverty, illness, and scorn from his Earl father, before dying in 1887.
Harry B. Shere of Fort Dodge was elected most excellent grand high priest of the Royal Arch Masons of Iowa at a 165 delegate convention in Iowa City. Other newly named officers include Wal ter Schwarz Keokuk as grand high priest, Nathan L. Hicks Marshalltown as king, Ross J. Camblin Atlantic as scribe, Lloyd Rime Ottumwa as treasurer, George E. Masters Glenwood as secretary, D. D. Monlux Algona as captain of the host, and O. J. Kirketig Bedford as trustee.
