Jefferson High students brighten Cleveland Park with mural
Jefferson High School visual arts students paint a mural on a metal water valve cover in Cleveland Park. The project, funded by the neighborhood association, aims to enliven the First Avenue SW area with images of the J Hawk mascot, children at play, a splash pad, and a soapbox car. The work should finish in about three weeks weather permitting. The students will sign their sections and a ceremony will honor their effort.
