Two Men in Critical Condition After Fall Into Manure Pit
Two men fell into an underground cattle manure pit at a farm near Andover Iowa while cleaning it on Saturday. Dwight Johnson 52 of Andover and Justin Faur 23 of Clinton were rescued and rushed to Mercy Medical Center North then transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City. Both remained in critical condition on Sunday officials said.

Court urges suspension of Keosauqua lawyer over alleged misconduct
Iowa Supreme Court grievance commission recommends suspending 60 year old lawyer James McGrath for at least one year for allegedly propositioning female clients. He also serves as a part time Van Buren County magistrate hearing mental health commitments, small claims and traffic cases. Three women testified against him. two described inappropriate requests for favors in lieu of fees or sexual favors. The commission called the evidence credible and compelling though one witness was less credible. The ruling is non binding on the court.
