Camp Good Health Seeks $350000 for Improvements
The drive aims to demolish five nearly uninhabitable cabins and build three new cabin units for 12 children and four counselors each, add a director's cabin, a pavilion, and a combined shower storm shelter. The plan includes pool repairs and activity building renovations funded as a no profit project with professional fees and furnishings. Financing relies on contributions via The Gazette and long running endowments, with Cedar Rapids firms providing food clothing and equipment support for summer operations.
