McManus again closes Riley contempt hearing
In Cedar Rapids a contempt hearing over toxic shock case documents continued as Judge Edward McManus cleared the federal courtroom to limit attendees. Riley sought a press hearing on closure, but the judge declined, offering a transcript if later needed. The open session heard Riley challenge Procter & Gamble’s timing and trade secret claims.
