35 New Tuberculosis Cases Reported in Linn County in 1959
Linn County TB Association announced 35 new tuberculosis cases discovered in 1959 and eight relapsed cases admitted to Oakdale sanatorium. As of April 1, 36 of 324 patients, over 10 percent, were from Linn County, prompting continued vigilance in case finding and treatment reporting. 1959 saw 13,700 tuberculosis patches issued for doctor nurse and school patch test programs.
