Linn County Board of Supervisors approves a rent reduction for Abbe Center for Community Care from 200 000 to 175 000 annually effective immediately. The move follows a declining daily population and unused space at the 1860 County Home Rd. facility as Abbe continues to admit residents from other counties to offset losses. Abbe has managed the facility since 1987 under a five year contract renewed in 2000 to run through mid 2006.
