Man Hit and Killed by Semi on Highway 218
Coralville police report a Springville man, John D. Biffle IV, 23, was struck and killed by a northbound semi driven by 65-year-old Mark Meyer of Keosauqua while crossing Highway 218 near the I 80 interchange at 5:22 a.m. The crash near mile 96 is under investigation and Biffle died at the University of Iowa Hospitals.
