The Postman Always Rings Twice remake review
A Stage 3 Theatre release with Jessica Lange and Jack Nicholson is reviewed as a faithful yet stretched adaptation of James Cain's tale. The film centers on lust between Cora Papadakis and Frank Chambers, with Nick as the caddish husband. Sven Nykvist's visuals deliver mood while the script elongates the runtime, diminishing its taut core.
