Erick G. Skogman 90 longtime Cedar Rapids developer and former head of Skogman Homes died in his sleep Sunday at his Treasure Island Florida winter home. Born in Sundsvall Sweden he built Skogman Homes into a Midwest leader with ceaseless expansion including pre cut homes and Cedar Rapids neighborhoods. He is survived by two sons LeRoy and Earl his wife Elizabeth Johnson died in 1934 and he served as Cedar Rapids Chamber director and Salvation Army adviser.
