Army Day Observed In Cedar Rapids With Armored Car Display
Army Day marking America's entry into World War I was celebrated in Cedar Rapids with equipment displays in the Memorial Coliseum Armory and a demonstration of an armored car on city streets. Col. John C. Pegram lent the car from Fort Des Moines for the event and guardsmen arranged a message center and guns for visitors.
