Soak It Up Series Teaches Green Infrastructure
Cedar Rapids Indian Creek Nature Center offers the Soak It Up Series classes for homeowners and professionals. Sessions run Tuesdays 5 to 7 p.m. through May 2 at 5300 Otis Rd SE with fees 10 or 12 dollars and cover native plants, compost, urban stormwater, and green infrastructure design. Collins D Bennett of 1856 A Ave NE Apt D Cedar Rapids faces assault charges for domestic abuse causing bodily injury after striking a woman on March 14 and a prior conviction. Christopher L Cungtion Jr of 1389 H Ave NE Cedar Rapids is charged with domestic abuse assault with a dangerous weapon for entering a residence and threatening to kill a woman and her children with a hammer on March 15. Nicole B Meeker of 90 Boca Chica Dr Hiawatha is charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury after punching a man in the mouth on March 17.
