First Catholic Hospital in Cincinnati to Observe Centenary
The 100th anniversary of Cincinnati’s first Catholic hospital is marked on May 11 at 9:30 in Good Samaritan hospital Clifton. Archbishop Alter will celebrate Solemn Pontifical Mass for the Sisters of Charity centennial since 1852 founding of St. John’s hospital. Monsignor Wagner will preach. staff ministers to assist. a post service brunch follows.

Archbishop to Ordain 11 Priests in Carthagena Rite
Eleven Society of the Precious Blood members will be ordained priests at Charles' Seminary Carthagena on Sunday Archbishop Karl Alter will administer the Holy Orders.
