Local Catholic Youth Hoop Tourney Opens March Eighteen

The Norwood Knights of Columbus Council 1162 sponsor a Sunday matinee basketball tourney at Purcell High. Six Tri area school quintets have qualified with two more possible entries. Last Rites Held For Sister Marie At Notre Dame

Last rites for Sister Marie of the Angels who taught at St. Augustine's School Cincinnati for 43 years were held March 8 at the Notre Dame convent on Sixth Street. The 79 year old native Cincinnatian, formerly Clara Diebold, entered the Notre Dame community in 1888 and taught for Rev Louis Id, pastor of St. Augustine's Church, who offered the Requiem Mass.
