Jeff Crawford returned yesterday from an eastern trip. P. J. W. Price visited his ranch over Sunday. Ben Scherck came from Bucknum to attend the club dance. Tom Speers visits with brothers from Lexington Kentucky. Jesse Davis returned home from Douglas after several days here. G. W. Metcalf was in town on business. Paul Richards of Walker Creek Sheep Company stayed overnight. About twenty five couples attended a social hop at Odd Fellows hall Monday. Father Bryant left for Douglas on Catholic building business. Mrs. Oscar Heistand and Lizzie McDonald returned from the Pacific coast trip. Esther Ogburn now clerking at Wheeler Skinner store replacing Mrs. Gus Smith. Suits cleaned at Julie the Tailor. Mrs. Stock Miller left for Denver to visit relatives. Stanley Slizeski went east to Wisconsin. L. W. Bailey purchased Gillis property in Park addition. Mrs. John Daly returned from visiting relatives. A fire escape was added to the Grand Central hotel. Waren Bailey left for Denver for business college. Advertisements for hats and French copies from reliable firms. Mrs. Farmer and Charles Anda plan a $3 000 residence on Third Avenue. Charles and James Cody left for St Paul to attend St Thomas College. Mrs. Donald Michle and family left for Lincoln to attend school. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Sheets traveled east. Mrs. Sheets to Denver, Mr. Sheets to Wheatland for the Laramie county fair. Hospital site settled. new pew building to rise on Capitol Hill. Work expected to begin soon.
