A near Ube cemetery refinery site will be repurposed as workshops for the new refinery. Windstorm Unroofed North Half of J E West Home

A brief Wednesday wind storm caused light damage around town. The main event was the roof being torn off the north half of the J E West residence west of town. Irl Lightner and a few others hid in a store office as the roof peeled away, then chased to safety as the roof toppled into a fence and damaged electrical wires and nearby structures. The roof was secured and repairs will begin promptly.
