Wyoming to Tax Oil Output for First Time in State History

Jailed for Stealing From Sheep Camp Near Waltman
Frank Fletcher reported thefts from a sheep camp near Waltman including a field glass razor fountain pen and other items. A small book with the thief’s name Hurst led to a description of a drifting local youth. Police traced the stolen goods to a pawn shop and jailed the suspect after identification. Heavy Nebraska Snow Storm Delays Trains and Hamps Farm Work
A severe snow storm in Nebraska halted stock movement and delayed trains on the Union Pacific and Northwestern lines from Chadron to Cody. Two feet fell at Cody and ten inches at Chadron, disrupting business and farm activities and straining state recovery after a prior blizzard.
