Italian Reds Try to Lower Yank Colors
Reported to the state department today an attempted violation of the American consulate at Gonos Italy by workers displaying red flags who sought to force the lowering of the American flag during a funeral. Vice Consul Murphy at Gonos relayed the incident through the American embassy at Home. The funeral was of a worker shot during disturbances with Malian police on September 10.
