A committee led by Rev. A. Baker accused federal judges of lax enforcement of prohibition laws and coddling bootleggers and moonshiners. The league warned it will impeach those who fail to punish violations, criticizing the judiciary at a speakers conference.
In Dayton Ohio Senator William E Borah spoke to a large Republican gathering in Cox hometown stressing the League covenant and Article X versus Article XI. He argued the central issue is Article X opposition versus support by Harding and Cox and called it the gravest question before voters.
Governor James M. Cox began his western trip in Pocatello Utah with an 8 o clock rally. He spoke to a morning crowd on progressivism the League of Patriotic Democrats and other Democratic doctrines.
Three youths were killed and their bodies placed on railroad tracks to hide the murder. Police identified the victims as men, with authorities confirming the nature of the crime and ongoing investigations.
Belgrade September 15 The Yugoslav parliament ratified the peace treaty with Bulgaria today. The session approved the terms of the Bulgarian pact amid formal ceremonies in the capital.
Senator Warren G. Harding issued a message to Republican and Harding Coolidge women's clubs nationwide. He argued women should participate in politics as a constitutional right and that the nation would be well served by their involvement in public life. The message was sent to Mrs. Ray F. Tucker of New York City and distributed to women’s organizations.
Vondon Sept 15 Bolsheviks aim to resume attack on Poland to capture Warsaw and restore Russia’s prestige. A winter campaign is feared unless Poland accepts a victor’s peace. Fighting with Lithuania has ended after League action. Poles reportedly ready to concede on large terms as massive red reserves mass for offense.
Fighting has resumed between Lithuanian and Polish forces in the Suwalki sector with clashes reported as renewed hostilities. Both sides exchange fire and artillery in the contested border area.
United Press reports late returns from Colorado primaries indicate Carl C. Schuyler leading statewide for the Republican nomination with Tenet Nicholson close behind. Democratic hopes center on a final count narrowing the gap amid multi-party competition. In Chicago and Albany races, Republicans Miller and Wadeworth secured nominations while Gov. Alfred Smith faced no opposition for the Democratic gubernatorial nod.

William A. Rowand, 25, of Union Pacific died after touching a live motor at the Cheyenne shops. He was electrocuted when he laid his hand on the motor and could not free himself before help arrived.
The twelfth annual Wyoming Bankers Association convention opens in Casper at 9 tomorrow with 150 to 200 bankers from across the state. Casper banks close at noon to allow staff to attend. events include a banquet, dance, and prize fight after sessions at the Odd Fellows Hall and Henning Hotel.
The Young Men's Republican Club organized at the Republican headquarters with permanent officers and standing committees. Membership exceeds 500, signaling a strong, active county presence in the six week campaign. R. H. Nichols elected permanent chairman with D. W. Ogilbee as vice chairman and J. C. Zolnoski, W. J. Bailey as secretary. Meetings set for every Tuesday with occasional speakers.

Hartford Conn Sept 15 Governor Holcomb withholds certification of Connecticut’s suffrage amendment ratification until the special Senate session meets next Tuesday to consider outrage. Catherine Mianagan obtained a certified copy and heads to Washington to confer with Secretary Colby.
