Owner of House Held for Liquor Violation Blame

Cheyenne Wyoming June 4 Special to The Tribune James Carlisle owner of a house on the second floor rented to John Jones is charged with violation of the Volstead act following discovery of a 90 gallon still on the premises. Carlisle says he knew nothing of the operation and posted bail of 250 dollars for district court appearance.

School Seats to Be Removed From Council Chamber

City council last night ordered removal of school equipment from the chamber and reinstallation of permanent seats. The action restores seating capacity after equipment used for classes last year.

Heavy spring flooding in the Feintte river disrupts Casper's water system. Nick Camets to be arraigned Wednesday in Ladas murder case

Nick Camets charged with the murder of Jim Ladas proprietor of the Burlington case will face an arraignment in preliminary hearing before Judge W E Tubbs at 2 o clock tomorrow afternoon. Camets has confessed to the shooting and the examination is a formal step to bring him to trial at the fall term of the district court.

Rooming house proprietor held on permit violations

H Melcher, owner of a rooming house known as the Midwest Rooms on West B street, faces a preliminary hearing before W. E. Tubbs this afternoon. County authorities plan to use injunction and abatement laws to shut the place down for a period.
