Edward Hurley 88 of Mills died instantly when a Dodge driven by Albert Taylor struck a motorcycle carrying Hurley and James Kelley on Yellowstone Avenue near the Standard refinery. Kelley and W C Phillips escaped with minor injuries. Mrs D W Lobdell rode in the Dodge and had requested Taylor drive due to traffic. Coroner and local authorities ordered an inquest.
