Fatal blast at Cascade work site claims life of Milwich
A blast at the Cascade Water Power and Light open cut killed Nick Milwich and injuring Sam Davis and C Hastings. Hastings survived with bruises while Davis suffered cuts and could walk after treatment. Milwich, a week on the job, left a wife and three children in Gumiri Austria. Coroner to determine blame. burial followed. Milwich’s real name later given as Novas. A silver watch and $15 were found on the deceased.
