Railway officials toured the line: Whyte, Marpole, Sullivan, Gambie, Lonsdale Coupe, Milestone, and secretaries Armistead and Coyle. A fire at J A Bertole's residence prompted a chaotic scene with a torch on a roof. Cascade is quarantined with three times daily bugle calls and Nightly music. Salvation Army service and a minstrel show featuring burnt corks and Carrie Nation impersonator. Quarantine ends next Wednesday if frost cases do not arise.
