Tragic Knightstown Crossing Accident Claims Three In One Night

A buggy carrying three men from Carthage collided with an eastbound passenger train near Knightstown. George Walden survived with severe bruises, Hugt McFadden died, and Stevens McFadden died an hour after. Walden, a fireman, is recovering at Walton House. Stevens’ widow and three children mourn his Franklin burial.
