Morristown Learns a Lesson in Mill Bond Case
Morristown Indiana May 26 deputy sheriff summoned forty five town leaders to Shelby Circuit Court as defendants in a $10000 damages suit for breach of contract brought by Homer Miller and Charles Flynn. Flynn secured $1000 bonus and $2000 loan promise for a flouring mill not fulfilled. The mill, now under an assignee, faces sale June 5. Mill trouble ends the bonus scheme in Morristown. A horse owned by William McCullough died after attempting to move burning logs. farm hands rescued it with a rope and a team.
