An Irish Party By Carthage Senior Class
Irish themed party at Roy Bundyen’s North street home last Thursday night honored St Patrick’s Day with green decorations and a Humorous name contest. Fifteen of eighteen members attended as Alma Braden, Roy Bundyen, Zella Bundyen and classmates shared stories and musical performances. Refreshments included sandwiches tomato chips pickles cocoa Neapolitan ice cream and cake.

Married Sixty Years In Quiet Mil be Beechwood Farm
Elisha Branson and Mary Hinshaw observed sixty years of marriage with a Sunday reunion and dinner at Beechwood farm near Milton, joined by daughter Ola Lindsay and relatives from Cincinnati Alexandria Middletown Anderson. The couple, both Friends by birth, were wed sixty years ago in Greensboro in a double ceremony later conducted by a justice of the peace. They now reside with daughter Rufus Lindsay, aged 80 and 83 respectively.
