Willis heads to Spiceland then May Quarterly Meeting plans a general revival through Walnut Ridge Quarter, with Carthage hosting 4 days of sessions. Will Jones, aged eighteen, died Thursday February 16 at 4 p.m. in Carthage. Funeral held at his home with relatives Mrs Robert Hamilton, his sister, attending in Muncie. The obituary notes his Covington, D. birth and mentions his family. An adjacent health notice promotes Chamberlains Cough Remedy, claiming it cures colds and prevents pneumonia or consumption with no opium or morphine, sold by McClain in Carthage.
