Miss Irah Disher, a stenographer at the U S Board Paper Co, told friends she and Edward B Jacques of New York were married in Philadelphia where he served as a Navy engineer. The couple had since stayed with her mother in Plymouth and were guests at the Carthage Hotel. Jacques will leave his navy post when his term ends. Mrs Jacques is expected back today.
