Quail Release Underway Across Indiana State
The Indiana Fish and Game Division of the Department of Conservation began releasing 20 000 quail statewide to boost game for hunters. The birds, all adults, were purchased by the department and are being distributed from the Indiana State Fair grounds to counties chosen for suitable habitat as noted by Director Kenneth M. Kunkle and Assistant Director H. P. Cottingham.

Rush County Dairy Banquet Plans Set For November 11

Mrs Verla Elliott Sutton a missionary to China under the United Christian Missionary Society will speak in Carthage Wednesday afternoon. An all day meeting begins at 10 a m with a pitch-in dinner hosted by the Carthage Christian church women.
