She died Friday morning at her daughter Mary Davis home in Knightstown. Friends To Hold Yearly Meeting In Indiana Richmond 120th Session

John C. Henley eighty, retired Indianapolis hardware dealer and longtime Masonic leader, died Saturday at his daughter Mrs. Glenn Grawels home in Evanston Illinois. Born October 2 1859 in Carthage he ran a hardware store here then moved to Indianapolis around age 35. He married Martha Dickey August 29 1888 who died three years ago. A past master of Mystic Tie Lodge and active in Keystone Chapter Roper Commandry Scottish Rite and the Shrine he also belonged to First Friends church of Indianapolis. Funeral was held Tuesday from his home and burial at Carmel. Surviving besides Mrs. Grawels is another daughter Mrs. Hugh Noel of Statesville North Carolina.
