County budget filings due before September 8
Auditor Hubert Alexander announced that all budget papers must be filed with the county auditor by September 8 for action by the County Tax Adjustment Board. The board starts on September 11. The county council meets September 5 to address the 1940 county and welfare department budgets. On Labor Day the county board of commissioners will consider claims.
