He underwent surgery Saturday and is said to be recovering rapidly. A senior and guard for Carthage high school for three years he was a leading candidate for this year’s team and his absence is a setback for the squad.

Retired Knightstown Druggist Dies at 84
Norman W. C Reeves aged 84 a former Knightstown druggist died at home from heart trouble. Born in northern Rush county he served three terms as town treasurer and was elected to the legislature in 1912. He ran a Knightstown drug store for 52 years retiring. Funeral Friday at 10 a.m. at the residence with Rev. Earnest Addison officiating. Interment in Glencove Cemetery Knightstown. Survived by two sons Norman and Shirley and a daughter Mrs. Tressie Maxwell.
