Funeral services held Sunday at Knightstown M E Church for Alonzo Sohn a Carthage area resident born near Milton in 1860 of German parentage. He died Thursday night at his son Henrys home from heart trouble. Survived by son Henry another son Fred of Knightstown and three grandchildren.

Mrs Lydia Reeves aged 65 died suddenly Wednesday evening at the home of Luther Renegar where she had lived the past three months. Cause given as heart trouble. Born in Flemingsburg Kentucky she came to Rush county about forty years ago. Her husband was her only near relative and had been visiting in Flemingsburg and returned to Carthage. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
