Mariah Holt Found Dead at Home in Carthage
Mrs Mariah Holt 77 widow of Drury Holt was found dead at her home in Carthage Monday morning from heart trouble. Surviving three sisters live in this area and Sidney Q and Indianapolis. Funeral held at East St Christian Church with burial in Carthage Cemetery. Local notices advertise sales and jobs in the community.

The thorough art lecture interpretation at the High School auditorium explains the pictures in the exhibit. It opens the way to continued study of art in the community. The exhibit is open Thursday Oct 29 from 2 to 4 pm with a lecture at 7 30 pm.
