Intangible Tax Distribution to Bush County Reported
Bush county will receive 6831.21 as its share of state intangibles tax distributions October 15 according to the state board of tax commissioners. The distribution will exceed by 563.41 the amount received in October 1933. Schools will receive 5123.41 of the total. the remainder goes to the county general fund. Distributions are made from beer excise tax and others are from intangibles and gross income taxes.

A Sunday Wesleyan Young People rally drew a full house at the Wesleyan church with attendees from Muncie Newcastle Mt. Zion Shelbyville and Blue River churches. Leaders led discussions on youth problems of today between musical interludes and Rev T L Berkbile of Newcastle delivered Ruths Wise Choice in the evening. About forty stayed for a post service lunch and social hour at the parsonage.
