Vandals entered Carthage High School over the weekend stealing about $10 in candy money. They allegedly pried a door to reach the office, broke two cabinets, and attempted to take Friday’s basketball receipts removed by Principal Reynolds. County officers investigated Monday and findings remain undisclosed.

Rex Scudder, 21, of Fountain town, arrested Saturday in Greenfield on kidnapping charges related to Miss Martha Siders, 17, of Morristown. Bond set at 1500. she was found unconscious near Brandywine schoolhouse after an Halloween night incident.

Mrs Leatha Moore suffered a head gash and bruises from a fall down basement stairs last Saturday. She was moved to her daughter Mrs George Jones in Greenfield for rest and recovery.
