Gurney Winslow 96 Dies in Richmond Nursing Home

Gurney Winslow of Knightstown and former Carthage native died Friday in a Richmond nursing home at age 96. Survived by widow Jennie, daughter Elizabeth Fields of Chicago, brother George Winslow of Carthage, and one grandchild. Funeral plans not listed.

Garden Club members tour Indianapolis nurseries

Miss Jeanine Terhune to Graduate From Taylor University

Miss Jeanine Sue Terhune of Knightstown R.1 will receive a BS in music education at Taylor University Up land Indiana during the 120th commencement this Sunday May 22. Dr James M Godard President Council of Protestant Colleges and Universities will speak. Terhune daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert Terhune plans to teach music. Taylor College reports 1017 enrolled students.
