James Rounds longtime ISSCH printing instructor dies
James H. Rounds 86, former Rushville printer and longtime printing instructor at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children’s Home, died Saturday in Manistique Michigan after a yearlong illness. A Rush County native, he worked for the Rushville Republican before joining the ISSCH and after retiring in 1946 did a brief stint at The Republican Company. He was regarded as an outstanding instructor whose pupils achieved success in the trade.
