May Quarterly Impresses Quaker and Friends Assembly
The May Quarterly meeting at Walnut Ridge drew strong attendance from ministers and lay members. Levi Mills of Wilmington and Mary Mials Harold of Indianapolis led inspiring sermons, with Rev C. N. Willson of Carthage addressing the audience. Numerous local guests and clergy observed the proceedings amid a fine day and some dust in the late afternoon.

A store demonstration by Amir ster and Velvet Rugs is planned for Saturday led by Linstrum of Indianapolis who did the same goods last year. Misses Dorothy Sipe Ruth Kizer and Ruth McIlvaine assisted sales. Prof. E P Trueblood of Richmond is soliciting at Earlham for a $50 fund to pay indebtedness. A Tuesday meeting at W P Henley's heard the district team hopes to raise $5,000 with many warm friends already contributing.
