Earl R. Binford former Charlottesville trustee and teacher died Saturday afternoon from a cerebral hemorrhage suffered while plowing at his home on U S 40. Born in Blue River Township, he was married to Doris Roland and leaves daughter Mary Evelyn, sister Maude Dykeman, and brother J Waldo Binford. Funeral held Tuesday at Charlottesville Methodist Church with burial in Glencove Cemetery Knightstown.

Miss Lenore Henley 79 died Monday morning at her North Main Street home after six weeks of failing health. Born in Ripley Township she was daughter of Micajah and Ruth Ann Henley and lived most of her life here. Survived by sister Mrs Rose Gear a niece and several nephews. funeral held Wednesday at 2 30 pm at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev Murray S Kenworthy officiating. Burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
