Miss Evalena Reames and Oris Kennedy were married Wednesday at the Friends parsonage in Walnut Ridge by Rev. Harry Reece. They reside in Brightwood Indianapolis, where Kennedy works at the Big Four railroad yards.
Jesse H. Siler transfers 100 acres in Ripley township and lots 1 and 2 in Alonzo Kizers addition to Carthage to Gracie Reddick Phelps for $1 and affection. William J. Henley Sr and John H. Kiplinger commissioners transfer lots 8 and 9 in Henry Henleys addition to Carthage to Geo B Augustine for $1000.
Hal Winfield 25 a baseball and basketball star from Beach City Ohio died early Sunday when his coupe speeding downhill crashed into a loaded truck. He was thrown from the car. He had worked here at a grocery store owned by his cousin Arthur W. Winfield, who with his family attended the funeral services Monday.
Mrs Mary F. Willcutt is listed with flowers and the telephone number 86.

Robert Moore of Los Angeles voted by absentee ballot for his sister Hazel Thompson in Greenfield for county recorder. The ballot traveled by airplane to Brazil, Indiana and then by mail to Greenfield.
