Ruth and Gladys Reddick, daughters of Floyd and Mrs. Reddick east of town, wed Saturday afternoon and evening in two Christian church homes. Ruth married Ralph Stevens of Knightstown at Geo Holwager’s home with plans to live in Norwood Ohio. Gladys wed Lowell Geise at Rev Crawley’s home in Falmouth and will reside with his father on a near farm. A Sunday dinner reception honored the brides with friends Alonzo Darrymple, Lowell Reeves, and Blanch Stevens in attendance.

Dinner and Bridge Dance Brings Local Guests Together
Mr and Mrs A J Carr entertained many friends with a dinner and bridge dance at the high school auditorium on Friday night. Thirteen decorated tables held pudded roses and ferns while place cards showed dining and bridge seating. Prizes were awarded for high scores. guests enjoyed songs and tap dancing by Mrs Katherine Hein as music by Mrs Maude Porter Hoyt Addison and Russell Kennedy accompanied the event. A May pole comedy dance by Bayard Baker and Walter Chonau drew applause.
