Mrs. Marley Plummer of Route 6 Rushville reported a break in when returning home to find intruders had forced the front door and rifled several drawers. Police say only about 55 cents in change was missing, with no other items believed taken.
Mr and Mrs Charles Miller of Knightstown announce the birth of a daughter Angela Gayle born March 23 at Rush Memorial Hospital. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Paul Patterson of Carthage and Mrs Mary Miller of Knightstown. Mrs Miller is the former Kay Patterson. The baby weighed 6 lb 2 oz.
Patricia Richmond files for divorce from Harry Richmond in Carthage by her next friend Bea trice Gibson. They wed May 2, 1963 and separated March 4 this year. One child. Patricia seeks custody of the child and support.
Postmaster announces increases in fees for registered insured certified and C O D mail and for money orders effective Saturday March 26 1966. Not all new schedules listed here but key changes include Insured Parcels up 10 cents Certified Mail up 10 cents C O D up 20 cents Money Orders up 5 cents. These do not affect current postage rates.
Clancy EB Nigh aged 86 of Allegan Michigan died suddenly of a heart attack early Wednesday in Newport Richey Florida where he and his wife were wintering. Survived by Nellie wife one step daughter and three step grandchildren three sisters and one brother. Funeral set for March 26 at Herrmann Funeral Home Indianapolis with burial in Linton Indiana.

Charles Pete Colwell of Jamestown Township Steuben county seeks the Democrat Primary nomination for County Recorder on May 3. He was featured in a Fremont Indiana paper recently.
Mr and Mrs Loyal Hunt Mrs Albert Ray and Miss Ruth White attended the State Spring African Violet meeting Saturday at Indiana University campus.
Kenneth Rhodes attended the annual meeting and banquet of the Indiana Sportswriters and Broadcasters at the Press Club in Indianapolis. Wayne Fuson of the Indianapolis News and assistant Lyle Mannweiler organized the event.

George Robert Cuskaden 21 of Bunker Hill AFB Peru and Carol Dean McCabe 19 Route 2 Carthage beautician were issued a marriage license. The couple plans a service together in Peru with both listed on the license.

Marine Lance Corporal Charles Gatewood has finished the Security Guard School at Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps Henderson Hall Arlington. Carthage Grain Co. hosted a chicken noodle supper for customers and families at the Community Center basement Friday evening. Entertainment was provided and many prizes were awarded.
Mrs. Carl Carson Sr entertained last Friday with a surprise birthday supper for her grandson Larry Rhoades to mark his 12th birthday. Attendees included Mark Carson Daryl Carson Roger Carson and Danny Edwards. The group later went bowling at Darth Knight Bowling Lanes.
Mr and Mrs Elmer Fenner visited Detroit Michigan over the weekend as guests of Rev and Mrs Kenneth Kuebler and their family.
Beech Grove resident Bill Adler, known for basketball prognostication, correctly predicted Michigan City’s path to the 1966 state final four. His ratings, printed before the Final 16, yielded only one miss, Richmond to Greensburg, and he finished with high accuracy across sectional and regional games. Adler, a former Indianapolis News employee, now works for Pioneer Title Insurance in Indianapolis, and lives at 56 South Third Street with his family.
State Representative John A. Ruby announces candidacy for reelection from Rush and Hancock counties in Indiana’s 95th district ahead of the May 3 primary. He serves on Ways and Means and Financial Institutions, chairs the Revenue Income and Expenditures subcommittee, and is Administrative Assistant to Democratic State Chairman Gordon St. Angelo.
Mrs. C. Henley 84 died last Thursday at the Methodist Home in Warren Indiana where she and her husband lived. Funeral services were at the Home Saturday at 1:30 p m with burial there. Survivors include husband Lewis of Minneapolis Minnesota a son five grandchildren four great grandchildren and sister Mrs Earl Addison of Carthage. Attending were Mrs Earl Addison and daughters Mrs Willard Cox of Indianapolis and Mrs S W Skidmore of Rays Crossing.
