Storm Ravages Indiana and Illinois Triggery Toll
A deadly storm swept southern Indiana causing many deaths and injuries. Prince and Owensville suffered severe destruction while Ifflin village was flattened. The storm extended into Got and other Illinois towns with hundreds killed and thousands hurt. The weather then improved returning to rain and cold after a brief power outage in the mill town before repairs arrived from Indianapolis.

Paul Woodworth, 22, Connerville, pleaded guilty to theft of 500 dollars worth of goods from Rem Bu store and received 14 years. charged in further robberies at Rashville Knecht clothing and Cox shoe stores.

Sophomores hosted a six o clock dinner for the Senior class at the Edgar Ruby home with green and white decorations and prizes.
