Word from O W Righter travels to Miami visit
O W Righter left Wednesday afternoon for a weeks long visit with his daughter Mrs Will S Coleman and Dr Coleman in Miami Florida. Mrs Ella Moore and Miss Eva Johnson visited Mr and Mrs J B Redding on Thursday at Knightstown. Miss Crystle Moore hosted a St Patrick s party and 60 o’clock dinner Tuesday evening. Snow fell all day last Friday with temperatures 15 to 25 Sunday and a big snowstorm on Tuesday. The mercury ranged 30 to 50 degrees Wednesday and Thursday.

Death of Former Resident Martha Addison at 61
Former resident Mrs Martha Addison widow of Millard Addison died Tuesday evening at 6 at her daughter Mrs Mabel Adams home in Mays after nine weeks illness. She leaves one son Myron at Mays, a daughter, four sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held Thursday at 1 30 pm at the Presbyterian church in Mays and burial followed at Riverside Cemetery west of Carthage.
