Funeral services for Benjamin H. Brown 57 a railroad brakeman were held at Greensburg Methodist church after he was killed Sunday when a Big Four freight train knocked him from a tank car by a projecting timber piece. Brown had lived in Greensburg 30 years and worked 17 years for the railroad. Survivors include his widow a daughter a brother and four sisters.

Funeral services to be held Friday for John Wesley Watkins
John Wesley Watkins, a lifelong resident of Ripley township, died Wednesday evening at 7 45 at his home after three years of ill health. He was born May 10 1860 on the family farm, married Aug 27 1884 to Etna Linda Watkins, and leaves his widow, one daughter Mrs Golda Madry of Kokomo, two sons Luther of Mansfield Ohio and Ithamer of Newcastle, five grandchildren, and was the last of eleven siblings.
